Now Hiring - Leasing Specialist in Lakewood, CO

The Leasing Specialist for our community at The Heights by Marston Lake Apartments is the first person our prospective residents meet so we are looking for an outgoing individual that can make a GREAT first impression! This person should be energetic, eager to learn and able to take charge of a situation.

Responsibilities:

• Collect residents' rent
• Answer phones and greet prospective and current residents
• Walk with resident through apartment during move-in and move-out processes
• Inspect property and walk vacant units on a daily basis
• Prepare work orders and call resident to ensure satisfaction with completed work
• Assist Community Manager with lease enforcement and issue lease violations
• Serve demand-for-rent notices
• Prepare and maintain lease files
• Other duties as specified by Community Manager

Qualifications:

• One to two years’ experience in multifamily property management or other related fields
• Familiarity with residential leases and renewals
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws; Tax Credit very helpful
• Dependable and team-oriented toward staff and job

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

• Lakewood, CO 80235: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
