Job Description:*
The_ Treasury Sales Officer I (TSO)__ is responsible for business relationship management of Treasury Products and Services for Security Bank of Kansas City. This position will consist of completion of treasury product/service openings for new and existing commercial clients, include working closely with the sales and operation teams to obtain data gathering, provide treasury relationship management with new and existing client portfolios, and other servicing requests required._
This position will be a key contact for internal Security Bank of Kansas City partners to provide business banking solutions and will have significant interaction with our business clients. The TSO’s primary focus will be sales while also working collaboratively with the Treasury Management Sales and Operations departments to implement new services.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:*

• Serves as a sales officer and liaison to our supporting partners and operations teams.
• Manages all elements of the Treasury Management sales cycle to include business development, prospect qualification, analysis, close and implementation of services.
• Participate in and times lead the pre-call planning, proposal creation, presentation development, RFPs, and scheduled relationship reviews.
• Manage client and prospect calls to expand business relationships.
• Identify and manage call referrals / joint calls within the bank for other bank related services for cross selling opportunities.
• Maintain an active calling program on existing portfolio of customers, providing all necessary banking services including loans, deposits, investments as needed by the client.
• Ensure prompt and courteous response to customer inquiries.
• Complete client setup forms, obtain account opening documentation, and serve as subject matter expert for all client onboarding and implementations.
• Actively participate in the establishment of goals and profitability objectives, and in the development and implementation of policies and procedures, to assure the achievement of those goals.
• Lead collaboration efforts amongst the Treasury Management and Operations departments to ensure business needs are met.
• Maintain current and accurate client interactions and pipelines.
• Act as a key point of contact for associate and customer service inquiries to Commercial Banking.
• Prepare department sales activity reports, including call activity, and pipelines.
• Demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with Security Bank of Kansas City’s values and leadership attributes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience and knowledge of commercial banking treasury products.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word applications.
• Knowledge of Commercial Banking, Treasury Management preferred.
• Knowledge of CRM systems.
