Brief Description:

The Sr. Manager, Market Access Marketing position provides critical marketing support enabling access to Jazz products for appropriate patients across our portfolio of products. This role directly supports existing brand Market Access Marketing Leads in delivering growth for existing business and upcoming launch opportunities as applicable. This position provides a unique opportunity to work across each of the Jazz Business Units in Sleep, Epilepsy and Movement Disorders (EMD) and Oncology.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for managing elements of the marketing budget, purchase order requests, and accrual process with finance department.
  • Manage relationships with strategic partners and vendors to ensure that projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner while remaining on budget.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative market data/research to continually gain a deeper understanding of the customer, brand, disease area, and competitive market.
  • Participate in the development and execution of integrated Market Access plans in conjunction with Market Access Marketing Leads in support of the Jazz portfolio of products.
  • Participates in the development of personal promotional and non-personal promotional materials, programs, and tactics to support Payer Account teams, Access and Reimbursement team, and Wholesaler/Pharmacy Account team to impact or influence public and private payer access in support of brand strategies.
  • Support the development of appropriate access messaging, programs, and support/pull through materials for Plan of Action (POA) meetings and Annual Kickoff meetings.
  • Represent the Market Access Marketing team as the subject matter expert at Regulatory/Legal Review meetings, as well as other internal meetings where appropriate.
  • Develop comprehensive measurement strategies for analyzing and ongoing optimization of tactical performance

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Demonstrated record of effectively working in cross-functional teams; strong teamwork skills and demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to shift focus between strategy, planning, and execution with agility and strict attention to detail
  • Demonstrated strong analytical, planning, project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience in navigating Market Access Coverage Systems & Information (MMIT, Fingertip Formulary, etc.)
  • Experience/knowledge of traditional formulary pull through strategies and tools preferred
  • Neuroscience and/or Oncology therapeutic area experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required.

Required/Preferred Education and Licenses

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • A strongly preferred candidate would have a pharmaceutical career progression demonstrating growth in responsibility and scope, particularly in commercial positions
  • Two or more years of experience in pharmaceutical Marketing/Market Access Marketing preferred or relatable life sciences experience.

Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices and we strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. For this role, the anticipated base pay range is $121,600-$159,600. The exact base pay offered for this role will depend on various factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.

At Jazz, your base pay is only one part of your total compensation package. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation (depending on the role), in accordance with the terms of the Company's Global Cash Bonus Plan or Incentive Compensation Plan, as well as discretionary equity grants in accordance with Jazz's Long Term Equity Incentive Plan.
