Position Summary:
The National Account Management Team is part of the Inside Sales Department and is responsible for providing key provider accounts with a dedicated point of access to receive quality, personalized service. The National Account Manager maintains relationships with clinical decision makers and understands the preferences of each assigned account. National account managers are a senior liaison for Empowers high-profile clients. National Account Managers prioritize client satisfaction, promote new services, set targets, and ensure healthy relationships between Empower and our high-profile customers. They also follow up on complaints and questions from clients and present their performance to management. A national account manager will oversee and manage client relationships on a national basis for our company. In this role, you will act as the senior representative for the company and work with our national clients and partners by initiating sales campaigns to maximize revenues of accounts; based on both metrics and direct account communication, provides field intelligence to leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Possesses detailed product and compounding knowledge
  • Remains up to date on new product and regulatory changes
  • Performs Account/Business reviews for high profile customers on a recurring basis
  • Demonstrates superior customer service and maintains relationships with assigned provider accounts
  • Possesses knowledge regarding contracts, multi-location order platforms & strategic ordering systems
  • Monitors account sales metrics across the entire organization
  • Generates routine and custom reports to analyze product volume and sales revenue trends
  • Updates each CRM profile with detailed and accurate information
  • Maintains a minimum number of high-volume outgoing communications
  • Maintains a high standard of professionalism in verbal and written communications
  • Follows established sales operating procedures and best practices
  • Executes mass communication campaigns and maintains a follow up schedule
  • Implements planned sales strategies based on analytics and customer requests
  • Communicates facts and never makes invalidated claims
  • Meets all performance expectations and regularly exceeds sales goals

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Genuine interest in pharmaceutical products related to wellness, quality of life, and hormone therapies & able to learn detailed knowledge of pharmaceutical products and specific clinical treatments

  • Must be self-starter and results-driven with high adaptability in an environment with significant change and ambiguity
  • Ability to interact effectively with diverse customers via phone and email with excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must possess problem solving skills, ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines & possess a high level of accuracy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365

Experience and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, required
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of previous experience in customer service, clinical administration, or related sales experience preferred
  • Experience with CRM software (Salesforce)
  • Experience working with different account types (i.e., institutional, cash-based, wellness, and HRT clinics)
