Overview:
Gallagher's Human Resources & Compensation Consulting practice (HRCC) unites some of the most respected names in human resource consulting. Our North America team of 500+ HR experts in compensation, engagement, leadership development, hr strategy and operation, executive search and surveys, draw on expertise from every category of human resources, then assemble flexible consulting solutions that streamline efficiency and strengthen bottom lines.

Responsibilities:

Serve as business development and sales leadership, senior consultant, project manager, primary client account contact and project team supervisor

  • Business Development, Marketing and Sales Leadership
  • Demonstrates high-level understanding of GRI and HRCC business objectives, the targeted groups of prospects and ability to formulate and execute sales and marketing plans
  • Pursues internal, Gallagher Benefit Services (GBS) and external syndicated and primary research business opportunities
  • Drives syndicated market research sales
  • Identifies and pursues sales/new consulting client leads
  • Conducts sales and capabilities presentations and leads proposal development
  • Fosters strategic integration opportunities with ongoing HRCC and GBS cross solving objectives
  • Develops innovative ideas to improve client deliverables and increase revenue
  • Lead Consultant
  • Applies broad knowledge of employer marketplace and ability to maximize knowledge and experience to oversee achievement of outlined deliverables
  • Advises project work team including development of strategy, advisory boards, communication campaigns, custom research projects and tactical deliverables
  • Presents final project deliverables to clients
  • Executive Project Manager
  • Develops and follows processes to ensure efficient workflow management and profitable projects
  • Effectively manages and evaluates execution of deliverables
  • Leverages knowledge, skills and experience to manage multiple priorities, resources and initiatives
  • Establishes research process and guide development of best practices
  • Manages project budgets and approves billing summaries
  • Ensures accuracy, quality and consistency of corporate standards for all client deliverables
  • Client Relationship Principal
  • Showcases thorough knowledge of objectives and positioning strategy of clients
  • Acts as primary account contact for projects
  • Conducts client presentations and addresses inquiries
  • Builds and maintains relationships with employer stakeholders, national employer associations, business coalitions, benefits advisors and healthcare organizations—PBMs, SPPs, HPs
  • Account Management
  • Thorough knowledge of objectives and positioning strategy of clients
  • Act as primary account contact for business development and projects
  • Conduct client presentations
  • Identify when and how opportunities or problems should be escalated
  • Project team development, management, mentorship and strategic alignment of talent
  • Must manage competing business priorities and look for ways to align and move the client/team towards solution based priorities

Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience required.

Preferred:

10+ years of extensive healthcare, project management and marketing/sales experience, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility, including business development/sales/project development and demonstrated history of delivering marketing and/or sales projects for healthcare organizations.

Travel Requirements: Moderate travel. Reserved for client facing presentations and business development purposes primarily on the East Coast (70%), but speaking engagements, conference attendance and non-East Coast clients could require national travel (30%).
