We are looking for a full time retail sales associates to promote and support the Brandon, Florida Red Wing Shoe Store by selling our premium quality, large selection of footwear while providing conscientious customer service to each retail customer. This role will directly support the Store Manager. We are looking for someone who wants a career with us, not just a job! Please see duties listed below.

Offering great retail hours. Store hours are Monday through Friday 9am -7pm Sat 10am-5pm and Sun 12pm-5pm. We are looking for someone that will be willing to work these retail hours. ~40 hrs. per week.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Promote and support the high quality Red Wing brand image through professional selling.
• Enter customer information and sales into X-store, process payments, balance cash drawer and daily reporting
• Measure and fit every customer properly
• Explain product features and benefits, as well as technical specifications.
• Practice industrial sales lead development on the fitting stool
• Assist the Store Manager with paperwork and the day to day responsibilities.
• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly store. We do all of our own cleaning!
• Perform tasks to assist the Manager when on vacation and/or traveling for store coverage.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required and 0-2 years related experience/training.
• Team and collaboration orientation

• Effective Written/Verbal Communication
• Computer Utilization
• Retail experience
• Ability to be a go-getter and self-starter
• Willing to assist in other market-area stores if need be

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Lifting 50 pounds, bending lacing shoes, and climbing a ladder.
• Store maintenance duties including but not limited to vacuuming, mopping & waxing floors, washing windows and setting up and maintaining displays
• We do clean/condition shoes regularly. You will be expected to perform this task
• You may be required to assist someone in getting their shoes on - please be comfortable with this!
