SCHROTH Safety Products is seeking to hire an Internal Sales Manager - Defense Systems to manage long-term, trusting relationships with governmental and defense customers for our U.S. manufactured defense products used on military aircraft and ground vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working within the defense industry, and in this role develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, answering technical and commercial customer queries, and identifying new business opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

- Coordinate and respond to technical and commercial customer enquiries.

-Calculate prices for existing and new products.

- Generate quotations, formal responses to RFQs, and customer price lists.

-Manage and coordinate lead times and delivery schedules.

- ERP management (process sales orders, order confirmations, shipping confirmation, invoices).

- CRM management (identify, capture, and track sales opportunities). Attend domestic and international defense industry events representing SCHROTH.

- Communicate anticipated sales demand to assist supply chain.

SKILLS and/or EXPERIENCE

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with customers.

- Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot), ERP software solutions (e.g. Sage B7, SAP), and MS Office.

- Working experience with US defense contract bid systems (e.g. DIBBS).

- Experience with export regulations and standards for defense products (e.g. ITAR, EAR). -

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or technical discipline.

Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
