Job Summary:

Kayo Energy is looking for an Arizona Operations Manager to be based out of our Phoenix location. This is an onsite position. As the Arizona Operations Manager you will oversee all the day-to-day operational functions of the local branch office. You will focus on increasing productivity, providing an exceptional customer experience, cultivating a positive employee culture, and growing the overall business for this location.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the installation of 25+ residential solar and/or battery projects per week.
  • Oversee all branch operational field and office support teams.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a highly skilled team of in-house solar installers and electricians.
  • Efficiently manage and review labor resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and budgeting.
  • Identify and share best practices.
  • Be a master of pipeline management, processes, and execution.
  • Ensure proper quality control and safety practices are adhered to.
  • Regularly evaluate employee performance, nurture employee development, and provide corrective action as required.
  • Work closely with other branch managers and sales to support one another and create happy customers.
  • Additional responsibilities as requested.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • 3-5 years of professional management experience preferably in the solar industry.
  • Electrical Certification and/or NABCEP certification is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA and standard safety protocols.
  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Docs.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced or high-pressure environments.
  • High level of integrity and work ethic.
