Robert Irwin Jewelers at the Wolfchase Galleria Mall is seeking a Jewelry Sales Associate who possesses a genuine passion for helping customers find the perfect piece that speaks to them. Our ideal candidate is empathetic and understands that jewelry holds sentimental value and can be deeply personal to each customer. Ideal candidates are willing to go above and beyond to provide exceptional service to the guest.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a warm and welcoming demeanor, creating a friendly atmosphere.
• Engage customers in conversations and build a rapport to understand their preferences, occasions, and budget.
• Listen attentively and show empathy towards customers' desires and emotions.
• Provide knowledgeable guidance and recommendations based on customers' needs and personal style.
• Assist customers in exploring various jewelry options, explaining the unique features and symbolism of each piece.
• Offer honest and transparent advice to help customers make confident purchase decisions.
• Pay attention to details and suggest customizations or personalized touches to enhance the jewelry piece.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and care.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction
• Help to maintain a well-organized and visually appealing store environment, including attractive jewelry displays
• Continuously educate yourself on jewelry trends, materials, and craftsmanship to better assist customers
• Foster long-term customer relationships by providing personalized follow-up and exceptional after-sales service.
• Collaborate with the team to meet sales targets while promoting a supportive and laid-back work environment

Requirements:

• A genuine passion for jewelry and the ability to convey that passion to customers.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a warm and friendly demeanor
• Strong empathy and the ability to understand and connect with customers' emotions.
• Previous experience in jewelry sales or a customer-centric retail environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of different types of jewelry, gemstones, and precious metals.
• Excellent listening skills to understand customers' needs and preferences.
• Ability to work in a laid-back environment while still meeting sales goals.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on providing personalized and exceptional customer experiences.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
• Integrity and honesty in all customer interactions.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
