Full-Time Retail Sales Representative

Position Title: Retail Sales Representative

Location: Louisville Market

Purpose: This is a production based contractor position with Spectrum. Your duties will be marketing and selling Spectrum products and services within our big box retail partners. For this market that retail partner will include Walmart and BestBuy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Consult with customers based upon their needs

- Maximize sales opportunities by selling TV, Internet, and Home Phone services to new and existing customers, as well as Wireless services in approved locations

- Remain up to date of products and services

- Ability to thrive in fast paced sales environment

- Complete order entry for customer selected services through ordering system via provided tablet

- Delivers superior customer satisfaction and sales support to potential and existing customers

- Accurately completes all orders and paperwork associated with order entry process

- Works with retail sales team to ensure that all orders are completed in a timely manner

- Wear work appropriate attire (Ex: polo/button up, darker color jeans/dress pants, comfortable shoes)

Qualifications

- Sales experience is a plus, but certainly not required. We provide you with training to maximize your sales efficiency.

- Needs to have intermediate knowledge of technology (I.E. computers, mobile devices, tablets, and telecommunication services)

- Maintain regular attendance

- Ability to learn at a fast rate, and be able to accept constructive feedback

- Ability to work with little supervision. You will be holding yourself accountable for day to day expectations.

- Follow through on commitments to customers

Work Experience

- Sales experience is a plus, but certainly not required

- Customer service experience is preferred

Physical Requirements

- This position does require you to be up and moving for 8 hours a day, typically in 2 to 4 hour increments

- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds

Benefits and Work Life Balance

- 16/HR, 40 hours per week. Paid bi-weekly

- Commission pay

- Schedule is Monday-Friday 11am to 7pm with regular breaks

Additional Notes

- This is position is for individuals that are motivated, able to hold their selves accountable, and be able to perform with little to no supervision after your training.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
