Territory Sales Manager in Fort Walton Beach, FL
We’re an independently owned and operated franchise, holding exclusive ownership of the Florida panhandle territory. We provide a proprietary mobile micro-filtration service for cooking oil, including vacuum-based deep cleaning of fryers. We’re searching for a Territory Sales Manager to help us expand our services to commercial kitchens in the Fort Walton/Destin area of Florida.
Position: Territory Sales Manager
Location: Fort Walton/Destin, Florida (Panhandle area)
Responsibilities:
- Develop sales plans in coordination with the owner and execute these plans to achieve targets.
- Identify target customers, generate leads, and close deals within the domain of commercial kitchens.
- Represent the business professionally and maintain excellent customer service.
- Utilize 10 - 15 years of sales experience in the hospitality, food sales & distribution, kitchen equipment sales, restaurants, and/or catering industry.
- Competence in time management, setting priorities, and driving sales initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Provide weekly updates and progress reviews on sales targets and performance.
- Analyze sales performance and results to design and implement effective sales strategies.
- Ensure compliance with franchise standards/policies.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints and service issues.
- Conduct sales leads sites' evaluations and prepare price proposals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in sales and marketing or business management from an accredited university.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Previous experience in the hospitality or related fields is a plus.
- Possesses a valid driver's license with at least 5 years of good driving history.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Ability to handle tough situations with diplomacy and tact.
- Capable of working independently with little supervision.
- Establishes credibility and communicates effectively.
- Willingness to learn and stay up-to-date on the latest service industry news and competitive intelligence.
- Must pass drug and background screening.
Compensation:
- Starting base annual salary of $40K – $50K depending on experience.
- 30% commission on the first 3 months of new business sales revenues.
- $500/month car allowance.
- 15% end-of-year bonus based on achieving set KPIs and fiscal year revenue target.
