What You Will Do:

This role will play an integral part in developing the forecast for all areas of business in the local channel as well as the overall division. The Director of Planning & Forecasting will partner with the Commercial Sales leads, Commercial Finance and Demand Planning to provide the SVP of Sales with a recommended forecast for each customer / channel. They will then work with the SVP of sales to fine tune and provide final forecast weekly, monthly & trend submissions for each of the brands for the channel. The Director will aid the Vice President in the development, planning and implementation of PPD sales programming/support with key analysis and tools to support business assessments, decision-making and validation processes. The Director will play a role in Ways of Working and Simplicity 2 process workstreams in partnership with the Vice President. The position requires a high degree of collaboration and communication with cross functional teams, including Sales, Digital, Customer Service, Business Intelligence, Marketing, Finance, Demand Planning and Executive Management.


  • Customer / Channel ($660M+)
  • Monthly and Trend Sell Out Forecasts by Customer / Channel ($1.3B+)
  • Partner with Commercial Finance & Customer Supply Chain on Stock & Sales Tool
  • Provide key analytics, assessment and forecast insights leveraging Stock & Sales Tool
  • Analyze key sales drivers impact on forecasts (promotions & launches)
  • Manage Customer Accruals with Finance & Commercial teams
  • Responsible for PPD Brand Trend consolidation For All Channel (Local & SalonCentric)
  • Develop, Coordinate and update all annual/monthly Sales Customer Forecasts, Budgets & Trends
  • Manage all reporting and analytical aspects of Other Sales Specific Programs (LT Commissions/Rebates)
  • Lead w/ Business Analysis & Demand Planning to create Consistent Brand Reporting within appropriate timelines

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • 4-year College degree/professional experience
  • 7+ years’ experience in Sales Planning, Commercial Finance and/or Finance
  • Advanced computer skills (Excel, Excel Pivot Tables, SAP Analyzer & Power BI)
  • Strong attention to detail for accuracy with the ability to multitask
  • Exceptional organizational, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to influence and drive change
  • Strong & effective business communication- written and oral skills
  • Adaptable/flexible in changing environment
