Our team is growing, and we are looking for a licensed Property & Casualty Insurance professional that wants to grow their knowledge and skill with our agency and has a heart to serve others.

Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 1-2 years of related Commercial Lines Insurance experience. To perform this job successfully, the Assistant Account Manager must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities with an exceptional attention to detail. They must be well organized, reliable and demonstrate the ability to collaborate in a team environment. Must be self-motivated and willing to continually grow their knowledge in our niche market.

Responsibilities:

• Assist & back up the Account Management team with all aspects when they are unavailable.
• Perform work delegated to you by Account Manager such as policy checking, endorsements, audits, certificates/ EPI, etc. with a high level of accuracy.
• Quickly respond to customer and carrier inquiries by phone or email.
• Maintain detailed and accurate account files.
• Receive continuous training on all systems used in your day-to-day work such as our agency management system EPIC, and carrier related systems. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Be available to client, producer, support staff, and management during normal business hours Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm.
• Communicate in a positive manner with ChurchWest staff as well as with our external customers to contribute to a positive, pleasant work environment.
• Protect confidentiality of client information.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge and skills that are required to service the clients effectively.
• Maintain California Department of Insurance Property & Casualty license in good standing completing continuing education courses as required and in a timely basis..
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Maintain Property & Casualty - Broker - Agent Insurance License in the state of California and keep in good standing. Complete continuing education courses as required and on a timely basis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Successful candidates must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills.
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a team environment in a fast-paced and growing professional office environment.
