Business Development Manager in Sacramento, CA
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking and lead generation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Achieve sales targets and revenue goals through effective sales techniques and strategies.
- Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized security solutions for clients.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and developments and use this knowledge to inform business development strategies.
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and stay informed about new developments in the industry.
- Provide regular reports on sales activity and progress towards targets.
- Proven track record in sales and business development, with experience in the physical security industry preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with client and internal teams.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with CRM platform (i.e., Salesforce).
- Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts).
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field (preferred).
- Understanding of sales performance metrics.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of physical security products and solutions strongly preferred.
- Ability to drive and travel as needed to meet clients and attend events.
