Role Overview

As a rapidly growing social enterprise, we are seeking a Senior Associate - Business Development to join our US-based team. Your role will be to help grow the business by driving new business partnerships with CPG brands and retailers.
You will drive targeted outreach campaigns aimed at organizations at the intersections of sustainability, consumer goods, and social impact, with the goal of helping them take action against plastic waste.
Your role will involve rapidly building our pipeline of prospective clients and positioning rePurpose Global as a powerful, global community-led movement for planetary change that every business wants to be associated with.
You will be working directly with our Senior Manager of Business Partnerships and Director of Business Partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new partnership opportunities through proactive outreach, as well as manage inbound partnership inquiries via email and web conferencing.
  • Develop customized, client-ready presentations to present plastic action opportunities to potential clients.
  • Support the nurturing of business opportunities by creatively and effectively following up, moving deals through the pipeline from initial interest to finalization of contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop clear, customized proposals that meet client’s needs and align with rePurpose Global's impact requirements.
  • Conduct market research on the CPG industry to gain a clear understanding of customers, ranging from Fortune 500 brands to e-commerce retailers, across North America.
