Business Development Manager in King of Prussia, PA
As a Business Development Manager, you will be engaged in pre- & post sales and account management, market screening and business development in the Telecommunication industry. An ideal candidate will need to be self-motivated, determined, goal oriented, participate and engage in technical discussions, and willing to meet clients and travel.
You might already be an experienced Business Development Manager passionate about telecommunications or somebody who currently has a more technical role but is ready to move. We see a potential in both paths and would love to hear from you!
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Degree in business or engineering with telecommunications background
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
Very good professional ethics and able to give the clients the confidence during discussions
An in-depth understanding of the USA telecommunication landscape and excellent contacts with operators and vendors in North America
2 – 4 years of proven experience of working in telecommunications sector with the ability to talk the shop with customers and lead discussions to closure
Worked in an RF Engineering project using relevant tools and software
Ability to analyze customer requirements, work with technical team to dimension project pricing, and functional needs
Can work with internal teams to deliver customers’ RFP/RFQs etc responses
Excellent soft, interpersonal and negotiation skills
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and source a strong pipeline of prospective clients and qualified leads
Meet or exceed sales and profit goals with strong past records
Co-create and execute a sales strategy for allocated product range and region
Facilitate pre-sales process for new leads, including first contact, discovery phase, meetings and contract negotiation
Lead and coordinate proposal preparations in cooperation with other departments (presales, R&D, implementation, legal, support, etc.) to prepare on time and high-quality proposals
Actively manage existing customer accounts, address key objectives and strategy, concerns and escalations, overall status and new sales opportunities
Ability to bring proposals to closure
Deliver in-person sales presentations with prospective and existing customers
Research and stay updated with telecommunication industry trends and insights
Attend and actively participate in conferences and industry events
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
