Now Hiring - Professional Services Catering Venue & Sales- Event Planner for Off-Premise Catering in Saint Louis, MO

We are actively seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Event Planner to join our team. If you enjoy seeing an event concept grow from start to completion, we are a great match for you! Event Planner responsibilities include providing outstanding customer service and organizing memorable events, meeting the expectations of our clients that our reputation for excellence requires.

Responsibilities

• Respond to email and phone inquiries on a daily basis
• Prepare estimates for potential events in a timely manner
• Write and update contracts and room diagrams as needed
• Meet with clients for Q & A sessions, planning sessions, and final walk throughs, as needed
• Oversee events on site as an Event Coordinator / Venue Manager
• Provide material for social media on a weekly / occasional basis
• Standard office tasks, such as filing, printing paperwork, preparing menu signs and cards

Job Qualifications:

• Catering or other food service-related experience
• Event industry experience
• Communications, Event Planning and /or Hospitality Industry education/background
• Proactive with ability to multitask
• Must be well organized
• Proficient in MS Office (required)
• Proficient in seating program, such as All Seated (preferred)
• Knowledge of catering software, such as Caterease (preferred)
• Social Media knowledge will be an advantage
• Ability to handle occasional face-paced or stressful situations, remaining calm and controlled
• Available to meet with clients on the average of two-three evenings per month
• Available to oversee events on weekends as schedule allows

Pay: From $37,440.00 per year
