Renewable Energy Solutions Sales (JD 79)

Join the Electriq Power customer acquisition team and educate homeowners on the benefits of solar and battery storage system solutions and helping our world become a cleaner, greener place. This team member meets with customers in their homes and close deals in-person. The ideal candidate is a great communicator, skilled in product sales, customer oriented, professional, and comfortable working with customer agreements.

We offer paid training, base salary, sales incentives and the potential to grow in the company. Positions available immediately Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Ventura, and Santa Maria.

• Educate homeowners about the benefits and cost savings when switching from traditional electricity to a solar energy solution
• Ability to follow-up on warm marketing leads provided and successfully acquire new customers for the program through consultative selling
• Meet with homeowners to explain the savings estimate and related program documents
• Work with EP’s call center team and customer success coordinator to manage customer relationships and appointment setting
• Record and track customer information in company’s CRM
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bi-lingual - Fluent in English and Spanish (a plus)
• Must be 18 yrs of age or older
• Experience in consultative product sales highly desirable
• Experience working in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Platform - Zoho or SalesForce a plus
• A desire to help people and make a positive impact to our environment
• Outgoing, customer focused and excellent communicator
• Excellent time management, follow-up and detail oriented skills
• Regular, reliable and predictable attendance required
• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
• Must have your own reliable transportation and ability to drive to customer homes in assigned territory
• Authorized to work in the US

Education:

• High School Diploma
• AA or BA/BS Degree - or an equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work and life experience

Salary:

$45,000 - $60,000 base annually + uncapped incentives

Electriq Power’s organic growth began in a San Leandro, CA garage in late 2014. After purchasing a totaled Nissan Leaf and stripping the battery and computers for parts, the Electriq team went to work attempting to build their first home battery prototype. After four months of building, testing, rebuilding, and retesting, Electriq’s first energy storage prototype was complete.Over the next few years, the team grew, investors emerged, and Electriq’s original prototype evolved into its first consumer-ready smart home battery, the IQ System. And even though the energy storage market was still in its infancy, consumers recognized the dire need for home energy storage.

Fast forward to present day, we now occupy over 27,000 sq. ft. at our San Leandro, CA location, office and warehouse facility in Oxnard, CA and have our corporate office in downtown West Palm Beach, FL. Our home battery systems can be found in customers’ homes and small businesses all over the world. Electriq Power has even donated systems to hurricane-stricken areas like Puerto Rico and Haiti to help them become more resilient during dangerous weather conditions.
