Road Machinery now operates across Arizona and California including world class re-manufacturing facilities for Diesel Engines, Transmissions, Electrical Rotating Devices and Hydraulic Cylinders.

Essential Duties

  • Use systematic planning and prospecting to generate sales leads.
  • Conduct equipment inspections to identify appropriate repairs.
  • Conduct daily cold calls to generate leads / sales appointments.
  • Conduct daily job site visits to generate leads / sales appointments.
  • Conduct daily sales presentations and demonstrations of service support.
  • Identify your territory and create an effective marketing campaign.
  • Promote Service, Parts and sales in your territory.
  • Enter your activities into the CRM daily.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of outside sales experience, prior experience in heavy equipment sales is a plus.
  • Must have Product Support Sales experience.
  • Service or Parts experience at Komatsu, Caterpillar or other dealer preferred.
  • Must have sales skills to effectively overcome objections and close the sale.
  • Must be a motivated self-starter.
  • Must be able to fully comprehend hydraulic and electrical schematics.
  • Valid State Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
  • Must be able to travel on a regular basis to include overnight stays.
