St. Louis Lighting Group is an independent sales agency whose mission is to provide the best value in lighting & controls for our market partners.
We are seeking an Inside Sales/Quotes position to become an integral part of our team! The primary objective of this position is to secure business opportunities by efficiently generating timely and accurate quotations to electrical distributors and contractors. This position requires basic lighting knowledge, strong inter-personal skills, excellent organizational skills and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new quotes – develop part numbers, create descriptions and generate prices from a quotations tool
- Request and obtain vendor pricing
- Develop and maintain manufacturer and customer relationships
- Follow up on quotations provided to customers and gather competitive feedback to close new business opportunities
- Communicate with outside sales and sales management on quotation requests, change requests and bid strategies
- Have the ability to “think outside the box” and offer alternate lighting solutions when necessary or requested
- Possess a high sense of urgency, attention to detail, a “do whatever it takes to get the job done” attitude
- Many requests have tight deadlines. The ability to work proficiently under time constraints is a must.
We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to become an integral part of our team! The primary objective of this position is to manage customer queries. You will also be asked to process orders, manage existing orders (provide status updates to customers), assist with development of shop drawings/submittals and escalate post sales issues (defective product, missed shipments, replacement orders, etc…) between the manufacturers and customers. Good Inter-personal skills and strong organizational skills are pre-requisites for this Customer Service Specialist role. This role can also be an excellent stepping stone to additional roles within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a positive, can-do attitude toward customers at all times.
- Having a continuous improvement approach to business processes
- Responding promptly to customer inquiries and being pro-active to exceed customer expectations
- Communicating with customers through various channels.
- Acknowledging and resolving customer post sales requests.
- Knowing our products inside and out so that you can answer questions.
- Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests.
- Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and complaints.
- Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
- Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
