Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the highest standards of personal conduct on and off the job. Look and act professional … this includes, but is not limited to, personal grooming, vehicle appearance, tools, and equipment.
  • Perform quality inspections. This will include the preparation of a complete and accurate graph, appropriate treatment specifications, and correct rate card pricing.
  • Sell additional services. Take advantage of cross-selling opportunities.
  • Contact all customers after service is performed to ensure customer satisfaction and generate referrals.
  • Maintain productivity at or above the published minimum standard. Review, understand, and comply with all general Sales Policies.
  • Be on time. When you make an appointment or promise, keep it. Always call the customer & the office before the appointment time if you are going to be late by more than 10 minutes.
  • Respond to customer issues with urgency and the customer's complete satisfaction. Inform Management of any unusual problems or requests made by customers.
  • Always respect the customer’s premises and furnishings. Leave them in the same condition or better than you found them when you arrived.
  • Attend all technical training meetings, as required.
  • Stay abreast of all regulations involving our industry and the use of safety equipment and procedures. Perform job functions consistent with regulations and Company policies and procedures.
  • Stay abreast of all technical data about industry products, materials, and equipment.
  • Build trusting and lasting relationships with customers. Always say, and do what is right!
  • Operate a Company vehicle safely, while adhering to both the Safer Home Services Responsible Driving Policy and the Safer Home Services Distracted Driving Policy.
  • Maintain your vehicle in a safe, clean, and proper operating condition
  • Safeguard all Company property, equipment, and materials. Use and maintain all personal safety equipment, as required.
  • Participate in promotional and public/community relations efforts as required.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Job requirements

  • Tech-savvy and has the desire to do what is right
  • Clean appearance/ clean shaven (if applicable)
  • Enjoys helping people solve a problem
  • Able to pass a background check and drug test (Cannabis is Acceptable)
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • 1-2 years of relevant sales experience preferred
  • Pest Control experience is a bonus
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
