The Store Manager is responsible for the overall management of the store and its operations. They will oversee the store employees and ensure that all sales, marketing, and operations requirements are met. They will also ensure that the store is managed in a way that will maximize profits, sales, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all sales processes from beginning to end
  • Ensure all sales processes are completed in a timely manner to meet company standards
  • Ensure that all sales transactions are handled in an efficient and effective manner
  • Ensure that all customers have the best experience possible by responding to customer concerns promptly and effectively
  • Ensure that all staff members are following company policies and are trained on product knowledge
  • Manage staff in a professional manner to promote team morale and productivity
  • Manage store in a way that maximizes profits, sales, and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure stock is available for customers
  • Monitor store for signs of damage or shortages and take necessary action (e.g. closing inventory)
  • Analyze results of any promotional efforts to ensure they yield maximum results
  • Prepare reports on sales, products sold, etc. for company management
  • Other duties as assigned by manager
