Now Hiring - Vice President of Sales and Marketing in Los Angeles, CA

JRK Hotel Group is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, hands-on, and well-spoken Vice President of Sales and Marketing to oversee its seven hotels in Santa Monica, Palm Springs, and Austin. As the Sales and Marketing lead, you will be responsible for executing strategies designed to maximize hotel profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction. This role has the unique opportunity to reposition the Hotel Oceana as the preeminent hotel in Santa Monica following its transformative $35 Million Renovation in 2019 and most recently winning Travel + Leisure’s 2023 World’s Best Awards as the #1 Hotel in all of Los Angeles.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry, managing or leading hotel sales and marketing efforts.
• Extensive knowledge of forecasting sales and interpreting/analyzing results to plan and conduct budgetary analysis.
• Ability to be assertive and persuasive, work in a fast-paced environment with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, including follow-up, time management, and ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of the local Santa Monica market (strongly preferred).
• Have a demonstrated track record of developing long-term relationships and contacts.
• Willingness to work hard and build a long-term career at JRK.

Education

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in hospitality/hotel management.

Compensation & Benefits

You will work full-time Monday through Friday at Corporate offices located in West Los Angeles. Some travel will be required.

Starting pay ranges from $150,000.00 to $250,000.00 annually, plus an annual discretionary bonus.
