Territory Sales Manager in Oxnard, CA
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: The following items are specific requirements, assignments and tasks expected to be understood and performed within the position of Territory Sales Manager. Company-wide standards, practices and policies that are required by all employees are in addition to the duties given in this job description.
· Working directly with end users and with distributors.
· Prospecting in the geographic area for bakery, deli, produce, and confectionery processors and supermarkets.
· Following up on leads and winning new customers.
· Developing and implementing strategic plans to manage and grow existing accounts and gain new accounts.
· Drive customer retention, renewals, upsells and satisfaction - understanding customer needs and identifying new business opportunities within the customer portfolio.
· Providing superior customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
· Leverage technical tools and quantitative data to manage campaigns to success, high customer satisfaction and business renewal.
· Prepare opportunity insights reporting, including analysis and research.
· Provide pricing insight for opportunities.
· Develop a yearly budget for the territory.
· Working with each customer to develop a monthly forecast.
· Communicating and coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions.
· Identifying opportunities for improvement and proposing new tools and processes.
· Supporting sales teams to improve their performance and reach targets.
Developing and maintaining excellent knowledge and understanding of our business, offerings, competitors, and industry.
Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree preferred (i.e. Business, Industrial Management, Engineering, Food Science, Management, Operations, Marketing).
· 10+ years of experience with business development, sales, customer success or account management. Demonstrated and proven leadership experience.
· Experience managing large account portfolios.
· Working knowledge and experience with contracts and contract negotiations
· Strong customer service and project management skills.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
· Ability to drive results; perform in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment.
· Detailed oriented, process driven, and have effective planning and implementation skill sets.
· Demonstrated ability to work independently and remain motivated.
· Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft office suite of services
· Dynamic personality able to effectively engage and influence a variety of audiences at all levels of a business.
· Ability to travel as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,263.27 - $150,413.82 per year
