JOB SUMMARY

Our company, Priya Living, needs to fill an opening for the position of Leasing Consultant for a 100+ unit community in downtown Fremont. We are looking for a friendly, outgoing individual who has previous Leasing experience, and can offer outstanding service to our residents and their families.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Leasing Consultant you will be essential in helping residents to find our unique place as their home. You will serve as the point of contact for all our residents. The essential responsibilities are responding to inquiries, move in & move out process, resident requests, customer follow up, renewal process, transfers and assist the Community Director.

Please note that this role requires Friday, Saturday and Sunday duties.

Responsibilities may include while other duties may be added:

• Manage the front office and act as Community Expert
• Incredible customer service
• Welcome residents, guests and vendors
• Strong verbal and communication skills
• Excellent phone manners
• Answer phones, transfer calls and take messages
• Coordinate appointments with future residents
• Follow up with prospects by phone and email
• Provide tours of the community to prospects as they visit the community
• Build relationships with current and future residents
• The ability to work independently to meet deadlines, be detail-oriented, and stay organized
• Self-motivated and positive team member with a friendly and positive upbeat attitude
• Ability to solve problems and work with minimal supervision
• Assist with Lease Renewals, Assist with Lease Up
• Respond to resident concerns
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiar with property management software such as Appfolio is a plus
• Enter daily inquiries from walk ins, phone and email to Appfolio Guest Cards
• Ensure apartments are move-in ready by inspecting, and adding last minute touches when appropriate
• The ability to work independently to meet deadlines, be detail-oriented, and stay organized
• Inventory of office supplies
• Assist with planning and coordinating community events
• Other related duties, as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• 2-3 years experience in Leasing Role
• Self-starter mentality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Required education:

• Bachelor's (preferred) or High School Diploma

Required experience:

• Customer Service: 2- 3 years in Market Rent Properties as Leasing Agent or Assistant Community Manager
