Based in our Tulsa, OK location, you will work in a best-in-class manufacturing facility with a great team of professionals, to provide technical engineering support to the sales channel related to the Tank Management product portfolio in our Pressure Management (PRM) business unit. This role is customer facing and you will be involved with a wide range of responsibilities such as technical support, improvement projects and presenting to various audiences. You will collaborate and partner with Regional Sales, Business Development, Marketing, and Engineering functions and be responsible for managing your workload to ensure timely and accurate results.

As an Applications Engineer, you will:

• Prepare quotes for inquiries or projects that require technical knowledge and provide technical assistance to the sales channel concerning product applicability and installation practices
• Provide accurate and timely pricing and product support to our sales channel; this includes lead times, pricing, confirmation of purchase orders, as well as engineering and manufacturing developments affecting customer orders
• Coordinate and participate in customer sales presentations and assist the development and presentation of product training for the sales channel, employees, and customers
• Accountable for insuring quotes and submittals are within profit and margin guidelines and within the time frame allotted
• Apply sales skills to probe and build orders to outbound and inbound customers
• Responsible for sustaining and continuing product knowledge of existing and new products and applications
• Function as a liaison between the sales channel and other internal departments (Marketing, Sales, Engineering)

You understand the importance and interdependence of internal customer relationships and cultivate those relationships. You use more problem-solving tools and ask the right questions to accurately analyze situations. You define overall goals and objectives. You deliver clear, problem-focused communication and settle disputes equitably. You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small, and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels and attentively listen to others.

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or a related field
• Previous work or co-op/internship experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills to facilitate effective communication of technical concepts and ideas
• Ability to travel up to 10%
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
