New Theatre & Restaurant is currently hiring for Sales Associates! We are looking for customer service driven candidates with at least 2 years of prior work experience at an inbound sales call center position. Previous Box office experience is preferred.

This full-time position is responsible for answering inbound sales calls from returning and potential guests. Our sales department is focused on providing exceptional customer service to all guests as they process New Theatre Restaurant ticket reservations by telephone or at the Box Office window.

Our Ideal candidates exhibit the following qualities:

· Candidates should have at least 1 year of prior inbound sales work experience on the phone or in a call center.

· Ability to provide exceptional customer service with enthusiasm.

· Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel.

· Professional verbal and written communication skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

· Provide exceptional customer service to guests and potential guests by telephone and in person at the Box Office Window.

· Answer inbound calls with enthusiasm while assisting guests inquiring about the guest experience, current/upcoming show availability and New Theatre Restaurant ticket reservations.

· Answer all guest sales inquiries and questions using accurate and effective communication.

· Process guest ticket reservations in Audience View accurately.

· Escalate guest questions, needs or concerns with the appropriate management staff when necessary.

· Performs all administrative duties related to sales as assigned, i.e. filing, folding, outbound calls, printing tickets, stuffing envelopes/boxes and mailing, etc.

· Actively follow-up with guests to provide requested information or to process necessary payments found on the sales reports.

· Flexible to work additional shifts as needed during Seasonal and Gift Certificate campaigns as necessary.

· Assist with handing out flyers at the Oak Park Mall kiosk during November and December to promote sales when needed.

SCHEDULE:

Regular scheduled will be Tuesday through Saturday. Training schedule will be Monday through Friday.

During peak seasons, sales associates are required to work 40 hours with potential opportunities for overtime depending on the needs of the department.

*NOTE: During the annual Gift Certificate Campaign (November and December), all sales staff members are essential to the success of the campaign. Therefore, except for company designated holidays time off requests will not be approved for the duration of the campaign.

REQUIRE SKILLS:

(Word, Excel, Outlook) Meticulous attention to detail

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· High School diploma/GED

· Prior work experience in customer service role. (at least 2 years required)

· Prior work experience in inbound phone sales.
