The Space and Intelligence Division provides engineering services and analytic support to the Air Force, Space Force, Combatant Commands, the Intelligence Community, and NASA. Our work includes systems engineering and integration, test planning and execution, cost estimating and analysis, developing approaches and concepts to meet emerging, high priority National Defense needs, and assessing and developing cutting-edge technologies and capabilities to meet those needs.

SPA has an immediate or near term need for a seasoned Capture Manager who wants to part of SPA's fastest growing Division!
Responsibilities:
The Capture Manager will lead growth activities including opportunity identification, business development, capture management, proposal development and oversight of pipeline growth. They will foster growth through strategic positioning, customer relations and industry networks to develop market insights on requirements, acquisition strategy, acquisition timing and contract vehicle choices to improve win rates. They will perform market research to include customer preferences, competitive analysis, and incumbent strengths and weaknesses. They will advise on teaming arrangements to bring the best capabilities to any competition. The applicant must develop relationships with line staff, management and business development peers accross the company to provide coherent responses to RFIs, submit compelling white papers, and formulate persuasive proposals. They will identify opportunities that leverage company-wide capabilities and lead cross-divisional collaborative teams to pursue these opportunities. The applicant will create and deliver executive presentations for gate/capture approvals. They will lead proposals to include past performance, management and technical volumes, basis of effort development, staffing plans, and price to win strategies. They will conduct after-action reviews for business opportunity capture participatns to document lessons learned and identify necessary adjustments to capture technique, strategy and actions.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM and 10 years of experience in key markets including Space and Intelligence programs
  • Proven track record of successful capture and proposal development and experience managing capture and proposal budgets
  • Detailed knowledge of the Federal contracting process and demonstrated working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations
  • Ability to operate independently with limited supervision and to establish a solid relationship with line, management and BD peers across the company
  • TS/SCI clearance
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience on a technical staff or as a program manager
  • Ability to use software tools such as Microsoft Office to present ideas, information and reports
