Position Summary:
The Outbound Sales Development Representative identifies and researches potential prospects that result in filling the opportunity pipeline for both the Inside and Field Sales Representatives (Clinical Liaisons.) The Outbound Sales Development Representative operates from within the Inside Sales Team and is trained to identify, contact, fully qualify, and generate Sales Accepted Leads (SAL’s,) in the form of creating Meetings. This role uses their proficiency skills and prospecting tools and techniques to connect and with key clinical decision makers. The Outbound Sales Development Representative possesses detailed knowledge of processes, products, strong tactics in objection handling and internal pharmacy protocols. This role is also responsible for accurately communicating this information to clinics. The Outbound Sales Development Representative also plans marketing and calling campaigns designed to provide important information to existing and potential accounts. The Outbound Sales Development Representative is an expert in data mining, online research, and identifying contacts and potential client partnerships, helping the Empower Sales organization increase revenue.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Possesses detailed product and compounding knowledge
  • Remains up to date on new products and regulatory changes
  • Executes online research
  • Searches, locates, and identifies potential prospects to generate a Market Qualified Lead (MQL,) using information channels such as social media, internet research, and prospecting software, such as Sales Navigator and Zoom info
  • Utilizes digital and prospecting tool expertise to identify contacts, clinic knowledge, customer “triggers,” and determines best means for initial contact
  • Initiates contact and quickly identifies key decision makers to introduce company’s products and services while leveraging company benefits
  • Enters all data and new leads into Salesforce CRM
  • Updates each CRM profile with detailed and accurate information as it is discovered
  • Collaborates with both the Inside and Field Clinical Liaison’s to support sales activity that results in opportunity generation via drop-in’s, additional scheduled meetings while Clinical Liaisons are in the Field and support the organization of Lunch and Learns
  • Ensures that all cadence touch points (calls, emails, and text,) are executed on-time and within the outbound cadence structure for each Outbound lead
  • Supports conference and lead list entry into the Salesforce CRM
  • Maintains a high standard of professionalism in their verbal and written communications
  • Follows established sales operating procedures and best practices
  • Executes mass communication campaigns and maintains a follow up schedule until each lead is contacted within the scope of the defined cadence structure
  • Follows all sales processes to ensure effective Sales Operations
  • Always communicates facts and never makes invalidated claims
  • Participates in all SDR Sales trainings and meetings based on product knowledge, development opportunities, review team metrics and sales/process changes
  • Meets and exceeds all KPI’s related to calls, scheduled meetings, and lead generation requirements to meet and exceed all Sales objectives and financial goals
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Experience and Qualifications:
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of related experience
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Salesforce and Salesforce reporting experience preferred
  • Sales Navigator and Zoom info experience preferred
