A highly respected, locally owned industry equipment company has hired Aspen Personnel Service to help them find a professional leader/mentor/coach to fill the role of Sales Manager within their growing team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage all sales activity to ensure they are reaching the company’s mission
  • Manage a team of 6 individuals and assisting them in meeting goals and budgets
  • Model and reinforce throughout the organization the company’s values, particularly in the areas of integrity, honest, respect, teamwork, urgency, responsiveness, and relationship selling.
  • Manage the inventory to meet department and company goals
  • Manage customer financing process, including communication with finance providers
  • Create and manage department budget
  • Review monthly reports and financial statements to assess department performance and implement changes needed to meet goals
  • Attract, develop and retain the best salespeople in our markets.
  • Creating and executing sales incentives
  • Manages salesman compensation in accordance with various sales contracts and salesman expense reimbursement in accordance with company policy
  • Communicates with factory sales representatives on goals, issues, training, visits, etc.
  • Coordinates with marketing manager to plan and implement a marketing/advertising program for the Sales Department, including a quarterly company newspaper, email blasts, flyers, reader board, website, etc., and with other departments for a coordinated customer interface
  • Oversees Norlift’s Operator Safety Training Program
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Proven history of leading successful sales teams
  • Lead by example and act as a true coach/mentor to the sales team.

Full Time:

  • Primarily Monday – Friday 8-5
  • Some travel required

Compensation:

  • $110K - $140K+ DOE (Total Compensation Includes Base + Bonus)
