Decorative Showroom Sales Manager
Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Decorative Showroom Sales Manager to join our family business. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales operations of our decorative showroom and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your main goal will be to increase sales and profitability while maintaining a positive and welcoming environment for our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the decorative showroom, including opening and closing procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers in selecting products, answering inquiries, and offering product knowledge and recommendations.
- Drive sales by actively engaging with customers, upselling products, and closing sales.
- Hire, train, and supervise sales staff to ensure they deliver excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales goals and increase revenue.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with suppliers to ensure product availability.
- Oversee the merchandising and presentation of products in the showroom to create an appealing and visually pleasing environment.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer interactions.
- Balance the daily cash box and handle financial transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and purchasing, to coordinate promotions, new product launches, and showroom displays.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Uphold company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a sales management role, preferably in a decorative showroom or related industry.
- Strong sales skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team.
- Solid understanding of interior design concepts and decorative products.
- Proficient in using sales software and point-of-sale systems.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle financial transactions accurately.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
