Job Objective
The Business Development Analyst is an energetic self-starter who assists in identifying and qualifying business development opportunities, vetting teaming partners, and performing competitive analysis research to support the Lukos Business Development (BD) Team. Serves as a Systems Administrator and Data Entry Specialist. Coordinates data into the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Microsoft SharePoint library, and other repositories. The Business Development Analyst also supports BD recruiting, marketing, and proposal development efforts as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Support the Business Development process with primary responsibility for the identification, collection, and analysis of contract opportunity data for DoD and Federal customers
  • Support providing responses to market research requests (Sources Sought, RFIs, etc.)
  • Create and maintain a pipeline of opportunities, tracking them from identification through contract award in Pipedrive (CRM Database)
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, archives, and databases for managing communications and office content through SharePoint
    • Ability to recognize business processes and resources that can be improved through SharePoint and propose such initiatives to stakeholders
    • Provide training and technical assistance to SharePoint users with an ability to create and deliver technical documentation for the solutions delivered
  • Support BD recruiting efforts by writing position descriptions for emerging opportunities
  • Support proposal response activities for management, technical, past performance, and other non-price/business volumes
  • Support BD proposal development efforts by formatting, editing, and reviewing proposal elements as needed
  • Day-to-day support of the SharePoint Online functionalities
  • Assist with development of SharePoint processes, and procedures
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to SharePoint sites, workflows, and content
  • Other duties as assigned to meet company and BD goals and objectives
Minimum Job Requirements/Technical Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for coordinating with BD team members and company executive management
  • Ability to support and manage multiple concurrent projects with shifting priorities in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Experience developing and managing SharePoint Online
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite of software applications such as Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams
  • Experience with Google Workspace applications such as Gmail, Google Drive, Google Meet and Google Calendar
  • Effective and efficient data entry skills
  • Self-starter - attention to detail is a must
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to problem solve independently
