POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Territory Manager is responsible for building, maintaining, and establishing a portfolio of business within their assigned territory. A Sales Territory Manager must have outstanding organizational and sales skills and be an excellent communicator who understands customer needs. They must be confident and respectful, as they represent the Sirna & Sons brand out in the local community.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Follow facility-specific guidelines. Other duties may be assigned.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Devise effective territory sales and marketing strategies
  • Analyze data to find the most efficient sales methods
  • Meet with customers to address concerns and provide solutions
  • Discover sales opportunities through consumer research
  • Present products and services to prospective customers
  • Participate in industry or promotional events (e.g. trade shows) to cultivate customer relationships
  • Conduct training in sales techniques and company product attributes
  • Assess sales performance according to KPIs
  • Monitor competition within assigned region
  • Prepare and submit reports to the Sales Director
  • Proficient in computer use; organized and able to navigate Microsoft Office software

Certificates & Licenses: High school diploma required, college degree in related field preferred. 2-4 years in sales experience in foodservice industry preferred.
