The Director of OEM Sales leads the OEM sales team to manage sales, strategic customer relationships, new business opportunities, open issues, and the overall satisfaction at assigned customer accounts. This leader is also responsible to report on competitive activity and marketplace trends to achieve our strategic goals.

As the Director of OEM Sales, YOU WILL:

  • Meet or exceed the annual sales target for the channel.
  • Provide strategic direction for the OEM channel, fully understanding Comfort Control product lines and strategic plans so that customer opportunities can be fully matched to our product offerings.
  • Manage relationships with senior management at key customers while also leading the OEM sales team to manage any open issues with customers including but not limited to NBO’s, delivery issues, quality challenges, shipping issues, PPAP’s, part approvals and new product introductions.
  • Lead the initiation and conclusion of agreements and MOUs with customer to drive beneficial results for the organization.
  • Ensure the salesforce supports the monthly forecasting process by supplying accurate customer data and forecast reports within assigned timelines.
  • Support the monthly reporting system and Sales CRM by checking all submitted data for accuracy and timeliness. Fully use any on-line data systems as needed.
  • Complete performance reviews, salary changes, and sales Center Point bonus plans following all Comfort Control policies and procedures.
  • Spend an estimated 25% to 35% of time traveling for customer meetings, key events and conferences, Comfort Control plant visits, and other misc. events.

Required Education, Experience & Skills:

  • B.S. in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years industrial or HVAC sales or related work experience.
  • Demonstrated sales experience in scaling a sales team / organization.
  • Working knowledge of the markets, products, customers, and competitors in the HVAC and Refrigeration industry.
  • Experience getting products through a complex customer approval process.

Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:

  • Master degree or MBA.
  • Customer-facing HVAC application sales experience.
  • Experience in the HVAC Industry working for an OEM, Distributor or Contractor.
  • Experience utilizing a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, preferably Salesforce.

This role has the flexibility of a remote work option up to three days a week and a core hour schedule. You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
