We are seeking an experienced Account Executive who will be accountable for the execution of a sales strategy which will deliver new logo sales and growth for our business. The successful candidate will take initiative and deliver sales discipline with integrity while fulfilling customer needs. Cibar sells to the trade finance department of large banks throughout North America. With a defined, niche market we are seeking an individual that will develop and nurture strategic sales opportunities, build a personal network of contacts, become intimately knowledgeable of buying cycles, and work closely with Cibar leadership to acquire new logos. The Cibar brand and product are highly respected in the industry, presenting a strong position for a driven salesperson to excel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Become proficient in the trade finance industry, leveraging Cibar internal knowledge and independent research.
  • Meet or exceed established sales metrics, including sales booking target and forecast accuracy.
  • Develop a thorough, well-planned sales strategy and gain buy-in from Cibar leadership.
  • Execute on the sales strategy to attract prospects and build a long-term funnel, documenting all relevant information with CRM.
  • Manage strategic sales opportunities from lead qualification, through each stage of the sales cycle, including negotiation and contract execution.
  • Use value-based selling methodologies to effectively position the unique value proposition of Cibar to prospects.
  • Manage the response to RFPs, submitting professional and competitive proposals to prospects.
  • Develop and execute on sales strategies for new product launches.
  • Manage the preparation, negotiation and execution of multi-year customer contracts.
  • Establish relationships with key existing customers to be used as references for new sales.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Accomplished high-energy, driven enterprise salesperson with minimum 5 years of Enterprise level technology sales experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% within the US, including trade shows, industry conferences and company meetings in our office.
  • Proven track record of building strong relationships, managing complex sales cycles and executing sales strategy to win new logos.
  • Post secondary education.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience selling in banking, financial technology industry
    • Knowledge in trade finance, letters of credit

For Colorado applicants, compensation is based on qualifications and experience and may range from $80,000 - $120,000 annually. A commission program will be available in addition to base salary.
