Given our growth and expansion, we’re in need of a Business Development Representative to champion our new business efforts in the public sector. This is a hybrid position in our D.C. office working alongside our public sector sales and business development teams with a focus on winning new business.

We have a fast-paced, progressive environment with a clear sales development process, exposing you to all elements of selling our software. You’ll be the tip of the spear in helping us connect with industry leaders.

About You:

· You have experience working in an office environment.

· You are results-driven, competitive, and comfortable developing new relationships over the phone and email.

· You are successful in leading meetings with public sector senior executives – both in person and online.

· You are seeking a fast-paced work environment where you can contribute to the development and implementation of new processes.

· Your communication skills are your strength, and you love writing effective copy.

· You are a self-starter who takes ownership of your assignments and can work proactively with a team to reach your goals.

· You have familiarity with a CRM (preferably Salesforce).

· You have superior time management and organization skills and constantly strive for improvements.

About the role:

· Establishing, developing, and growing new business relationships with influential contacts within target public sector accounts.

· Becoming an expert in our public sector clients, workflows, and their challenges.

· Understanding an organization’s business drivers, challenges, pain points and hierarchy.

· Engaging with executive leaders to discuss relevant business solutions and articulate product benefits and advantages relative to competitor offerings.

· Early career role with experience, knowledge, or interest in the government or in public sector contracting.

Getting Started:

· First Week: You will get to know the team, gain exposure to our products, and learn about our clients.

· First Month: You will be assigned your territory and will receive training on our products and sales process.

· First Quarter: You will be an active member of the team, engage with clients, and make an impact by building relationships with major prospects in your territory.
