Our company is looking for a new team member who will be responsible for leasing, marketing and maintaining positive resident relations of the company’s multi-family apartments. This individual will work to ensure maximum occupancy of rental units at all times and high renewal rate.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The basic duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

· Processes applications from prospective tenants and runs credit and background checks.

· Prepares lease agreements and facilitates lease execution and new tenant welcome packets.

· Enters new tenant information or vacancies into the Property Management System.

· Keeps property manager updated on all property leasing activities.

· Creates and distributes marketing materials for individual properties.

· Makes sure that public lobbies and offices are kept clean daily

· Shows apartments to prospects and details the application process.

· Maintains vacancy list.

· Other related duties as assigned.

Essential Job Functions:

· Must possess strong customer service skills, a positive attitude and the ability to remain professional under all circumstances.

· Timeliness and accuracy of processing new leases and setting them up in the system.

· Ensure the proper documentation and storage of leasing files and credit/background information

· Demonstrate ability to diffuse and respond to customer concerns to avoid escalation of the problem

· Attendance / reliability is an imperative job function

Requirements:

· 1-2+ years residential multi-family leasing experience

· Fair Housing Certification and ADA Compliance training (provided, ongoing)

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

· Knowledge of Appfolio Accounting software a plus

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task

Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen.
