POSITION PURPOSE & SUMMARY

A Healthcare Sales Manager, preferably with a professional medical background and experience, would fulfill a primary role is to research, prospect, reach out, map, and identify new business opportunities for Strata Integrated Wellness (Strata). Will work with prospects and patients to provide a smooth transition to the clinic and provider(s) for creation of their membership. Manages and sells into a sales territory / segment and achieves or exceeds monthly, quarterly, and yearly medical membership sales goals by developing global accounts and business opportunities as well as corporate sales goals.

In this role, the Healthcare Sales Manager is responsible for providing a world-class experience to all "customers" in every interaction, every time. Every decision must align to our mission, vision, and strategy. Every communication sent (through email, text or by phone) is to be professional, simple, and aligned. Every problem or bottleneck is to be resolved with an efficient solution that is consistent without strategy.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Manages sales and marketing activities, including but not limited to lead tracking, completing lead forms and spreadsheets, closing sales, payment collection, and working with the clinical team on scheduling initial appointments.
  • Develops marketing strategies and implements marketing campaigns that enhance the organization's brand and increases community awareness in conjunction with the Vice-President of Strata Med.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with community organizations, hospitals and other potential referral sources in order to generate leads and sales.
  • Prospects warm leads and interfaces with Strata Med marketing and website partners using multiple resources.
  • Researches and identifies new individual and group business opportunities.
  • Identifies, research, prospects, and maps key accounts to develop new business opportunities.
  • Performs market research, utilizing print or electronic resources to identify prospective clients.
  • Provides timely, organized, and well-documented research to the Vice-President of Strata Med, Owners, Medical Director, and other team members for follow-up.
  • Develops Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track and report progress against sales goals.
  • Remains current on healthcare industry trends and economic indicators. Uses pertinent information to aid in the development of strategies to target new business.
  • Follow the SOP's and protocols for retuning emails, phone calls, promised responses, and taking a piece of business from inquiry to contract to execution and to closeout within the approved amount of time for appropriate turn around.
  • Maintains the integrity of sales and marketing by following the proper process and protocols for inquires, accounts, lead, booking, function diary, estimates, activities and organizational follow-up, and maintaining lead / group databases.
  • Completes weekly sales reports and other departmental reports as designated.
  • Attends and participates in periodic business reviews, weekly sales meetings, training programs, and other meetings as designated.
  • Works with the Vice-President of Strata Med on direct initiatives to increase identified business and projects supporting the development of new business. Shares uncovered new business development opportunities.
  • Provides timely feedback relating to guest, member, or patient comments, observations, rumors, industry news, etc.
  • Conducts onsite clinic and property tours. This includes weekends when accommodating the prospect's schedule, as needed.
  • Entertain clients and prospects, as needed, preferably on property.
  • Assists with and completes special projects and assignments as designated by the Owners, Medical Director, and/or the Vice-President of Strata Med.
  • Close business on the best opportunities for Strata based on market conditions and execute approved contracts with clients within the contract signing due dates.
  • Work alongside the clinic team to offer recommendations of new programs / packages within Strata.
  • Make connections through healthcare industry sector by joining focused meetings to enhance and develop sales experience and relationships, as well as expand product knowledge and sales efficiencies.
  • Interacts effectively with Garden of the Gods Resort and Club sales, Membership, Food and Beverage, Finance, vendors, and associations to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Deliver "I Am Proud" service standards and department-specific signature touch points.
  • Establish cross-departmental channels of communication among teammates that are consistent and complete.
    • Follow company processes accurately and efficiently; adherence to policies, procedures, and culture.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS - KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Minimum Knowledge

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with a high degree of diplomacy and team involvement. Needs to be both analytical and detail oriented.
  • Quality focused, organization, time management, teamwork, and mission driven.
  • Must be a confident communicator. Tact, empathy, and self-discipline are traits required.
  • Must have patient-centered customer service skills with excellent multitasking abilities, problem-solving, organizational, and planning skills.
  • CRM database knowledge and experience.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise judgment to resolve personnel and production issues that arise during daily operations.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, team members, members, patients, and the general public.
  • Must be able to understand medical, spa and wellness related terminology including the various treatment modalities, equipment, and products.
  • Understands and possess a high degree of confidentiality and discretion; awareness of the importance of protecting same
    • Must effectively manage HIPAA and related compliance regulations.
  • People-oriented with an ability to adapt / respond to different types of personalities; good problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn database and patient scheduling systems, including EMR's, and MS Office, with a high level of data entry proficiency.
  • Ability to be proactive and resourceful in attending to unanticipated situations; a quick learner, eager to help develop and evolve procedures.

Formal Education & Job-Related Experience

  • 3 years minimum experience as a sales manager, preferably in a healthcare delivery setting.
  • 1 to 3 Years Meetings / Event Group Sales and Planning, or High school or college degree or equivalent
  • Customer service experience required, preferably related to a high-volume healthcare, hospitality, or service-related industry; strong preference for healthcare sales and/or marketing experience with progressive responsibilities.

License, Registration, and/or Certification Required

Most portions (50% - 100%) of daily assignments involve prolonged sitting or standing, in an indoor office area with carpet or tile floors. Well-lit with good ventilation. Significant portions (75% - 95%) of daily assignments involve potential ergonomic risk, such as regular repetitive tasks, forceful or prolonged exertions of the hands, with occasional lifting, pulling, pushing, or carrying of heavy objects. May occasionally be called upon to work in all areas of the property, both inside and outside, possibly in inclement weather.
