Look no further! Hedweld USA Inc., a proud member of the renowned Hedweld Group of Companies based in Australia, is currently hiring a Technical Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. As a key part of the Hedweld Group, Hedweld USA supports the group's operations throughout North America. We are on the lookout for a dedicated professional who can develop new customer relationships and provide exceptional service to our existing clients within the mining and earthmoving industries across North America. As part of this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end sales and product support, specifically focusing on our Trilift® range of workshop component handling equipment and our Safe-Away® ladder and stair access systems.

Core Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Proactively promote and represent Hedweld through customer visits, trade shows, industry events, and stakeholder presentations.
  • Ensure that every customer interaction aligns with Hedweld's values, delivering a remarkable customer experience.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for sales inquiries, providing guidance and support to customers on operational use and maintenance requirements.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify growth opportunities and provide support where needed.
  • Travel across North America, visiting sites and corporate offices to present and advise on the best-suited Hedweld products for customers.
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales data, including leads and regular reporting.
  • Stay up to date with market information, including technology advancements, competitor movements, and industry trends.

About You:

As the ideal candidate, you possess the following qualifications and qualities:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in sales and product management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in the mining and heavy equipment industry, preferably with a technical background.
  • Established network within the North American Open Pit mining industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels within customer organizations.
  • Proficient in reporting, teamwork, and internal communication.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and self-starting mindset, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to plan and execute sales trips and campaigns to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Negotiation skills to drive mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Experience using an ERP or CRM system.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.
