If you answered YES, this just might be the role for you! East West Tea is seeking a talented, passionate, and experienced Customer Account Specialist to join our team to ensure strategic, reliable, and responsive service in all interactions with customers.

The Customer Account Specialist collaborates with various departments to investigate and resolve customer issues, including sales, marketing, sourcing, quality assurance, scheduling, production, finance, logistics and warehouse. The Customer Account Specialist process orders from beginning to end and develops strong relationships with sales, customers, and brokers to manage detailed customer requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN:

Customer Management

  • Accurate and timely process purchase orders from beginning to end validating lead time, payment terms, freight terms, off invoice allowances, and pricing
  • Enter and maintain all off-invoice allowances for discounts and freight in the ERP system
  • Proactively investigate, identify options, and resolve daily complex customer concerns and issues communicating any urgent situations within the broader team and Manager
  • Work closely with Manager to minimizing potential fines and deductions

Supply Chain

  • Work cross-functionally with appropriate stake holders, analyze, investigate, and determine resolution of claims related to overages, shortages, damages, returns, and service level / non-compliance fines
  • Accurately process customer RMA’s and credits in ERP system to assure disputes are resolved and closed in the required timeframe

Administrative Duties

  • Assist sales with documentation including certifications, certificate of insurance, new customer set-up forms, new item set-up forms, sample orders and reports
  • Manage customer web site portals for scorecard programs
  • Maintain GDSN Data Sync loading new items, updating revisions, images, and publishing to customers
  • Provide support and assistance in all system updates up to and including user testing
  • Develop and maintain departmental Work Instructions
  • Other duties or projects as assigned by team leader or manager

WHAT YOU KNOW AND HAVE EXPERIENCED:

  • 3 - 5 years of customer service/account management in the manufacturing or logistics industry
  • Manufacturing ERP System

Company products, manufacturing, operations, procurement and logistics processes

  • Customer Service / Account Management fundamentals
  • Industry terminology
  • MS Office Suite (Excel)
  • Sharepoint
  • Web Based Programs
