We need more salespeople for our fast-growing company!

We are the authorized dealer for Greener Shingles Rejuvenator in Atlanta, GA. Greener Shingles is a product that allows folks to rejuvenate their roofs, making the roof like-new instead of having to replace the roof with new shingles. The treatment is only a small fraction (about 20%) of the cost of a new roof, but makes the roof like-new! This is a new niche in the roofing space...there is virtually NO competition, and is the best deal financially for homeowners who need to solve their roof-related problems the most inexpensive way possible. These are the EASIEST sales in the roofing industry, with an average close rate of 50% or higher (even amongst less-experienced salespeople).

This position is salary + commission. There will be a $25,000.00 base salary with a 5% commission on every job sold. If minimum monthly targets are reached, a retroactive 5% commission is paid on ALL jobs closed for that month! There is no commission cap, and salespeople meeting minimum expectations should be earning north of $90,000.00 per year. Experienced salespeople should be earning between $120,000.00 and $170,000.00 per year.

ALL leads are provided - we guarantee each salesperson will receive 3-5 leads per work day, minimum.

The following qualities are REQUIRED:

  • IN-HOME SALES EXPERIENCE - applicants MUST have 2 years of in-home sales experience. Applicants with no in-home sales experience may substitute this requirement for 3 years of sales experience in any industry EXCEPT low-skill retail sales (i.e. cashier or order taker at a retail store do NOT meet this requirement). You MUST have the intuition and sales skill to read prospective clients and guide the sale to close. This is a skill only acquired through experience.
  • COMFORT CLIMBING ROOFS - Applicants MUST be comfortable climbing on roofs of all shapes and sizes (except extremely steep roofs). Salespeople will be give company-provided OSHA safety training, ladders, grippy roofing boots (cougar paws), harness, rope, roofing anchors, and RidgePro safety harness system (to be harnessed in when stepping on and off the ladder). Salespeople will be expected to be competent climbing roofs of up to 8/12 pitch safely.
  • DRIVERS LICENSE - Must possess a valid drivers license
  • VEHICLE - salespeople must provide their own insured vehicle. Vehicles must be capable of hauling roofing ladders (most sedans with fold down seats can be made to work), and light roofing sales equipment. Vehicles MUST be presentable (no major rust, no faded paint, no missing parts). ALL work-related gas expenses are reimbursed as an expense reimbursement on your bi-weekly pay. Salespeople who are high-performers with the company for multiple years are sometimes provided all-expenses-paid company vehicles.
  • MOTIVATION - salespeople will be expected to run 3-5 leads PER DAY, 5 days a week, 50 weeks per year (2 weeks PTO). Each lead takes approximately 1.5-2 hours between drive time, bidding, and occasional rest breaks. EXCITMENT to work 40+ hours a week is EXPECTED (after all, the MAJORITY of your compensation will come from commissions). Salespeople are expected to CLOSE 1-2 jobs per day, 5 days per week. Sound too good to be true??? This product literally sells itself!

  • PEOPLE SKILLS - salespeople are not required to have previous sales experience, but it is HIGHLY preferred. A comfort interacting with people in a genuine way is REQUIRED. Good communication skills are also required. This is, after all, a sales position.
  • EDUCATION - there is NO education requirement. The BEST sales people we have seen in this industry have been GED-certificate-holding high school drop outs. No joke. You are REQUIRED to take constructive feedback positively and be willing to learn new things.
  • DIGITAL TECH - we are a Millenial-owend company. Everything happens digitally. Everything. Competency with Microsoft Suite, G-Suite, Zoom, and Android-based smart phones is a MUST.

The following qualities are PREFERRED:

  • Previous experience in the trades, especially roofing
  • 2 years of college

Pay: $93,227.82 - $137,618.45 per year
