Zao Asian Cafe is seeking a Catering Sales Manager to join our team!

We are looking for someone who will be responsible for selling Zao Asian Café Catering to local businesses. If you have great customer service skills and love building new relationships this job might be for you!

We provide paid time off. Health, vision, and dental insurance and 401k matching. You will get a free meal each shift worked. Bonuses/Commission will be paid on top of your salary. We love to promote within!

What responsibilities would I have?

• Working out of different Zao locations, and traveling to businesses in the Salt Lake, Utah and Davis county areas to promote and sale Zao Catering.
• Reaching business sales targets through telephone sales and marketing to business on foot.
• Must collaborate with Director of Catering / Catering Team to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
• Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects
• Set up and deliver sales presentations

What does the job require?

• Working weekdays - 9am - 5pm each day
• Previous sales or catering experience
• Someone who is coach-able
• Ability to think critically and solve business problems
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Desire to meet and exceed sales goals
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• High level of motivation, drive and determination
• Professional demeanor
• Demonstrate potential and desire for sales success and ongoing desire to improve

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
