We are expanding our awning and canopy marketing efforts which will generate more leads. I am looking to hire people to respond to those leads. To do that you will be required:

Drive to and interact with a customer and pair them with the proper product

take good field measurements.

take those field measurements and draft them in 2D CAD (in a 3D environment)

Size the final product appropriately

Price the product in a custom Microsoft Excel calculator

To do this effectively will require the following prerequisites:

· Previous 2D or 3D CAD Drafting experience is required. Not necessaarily in AutoCAD, but any program accuratley translating measurements into the computer should work

· Being able to use a measuring tape and simple laser measuring tool

· Basic proficiency in using Microsoft excel

Initially we will be performing basic functions 2D (lines, offsets, filets, scaling, measuring) and ultimately may advance to 3D concepts with the right candidate.

Additionally, any previous installation or construction experience will set you apart -- We install our products so a knowledge of installation practices will help, but is not required.

Any previous sales experience is also useful but not required

This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing company as we plan to grow further. As a sales manager I will personally train the right candidate to become a powerhouse in 3D and I will also assist in all aspects of sale where needed.

Last year we suspended all residential sales to take advantage of construction and commercial opportunities. This year, we are going to try and increase the sales volume of custom canopies. To do that we have to:

· Design groups of sizes of canopies for a price list and marketing material

· Engineer the frames for these sizes (we have a structural engineer for this)

· Organize marketing information on the product

· Work with a graphic designer to communicate that information via brochures and print media

· Market the product

· Ultimately sell the product(s)

My intent is to hire the right candidate to help me develop this plan. Once the plan is implemented that person will then be a salesman for this product. The idea here is you become an expert as we develop this and then use that knowledge to close deals.

The salesman’s job is to create production specs and an installation plan for the project and then put an accurate sales price to that custom event. The commission is the dollar amount the company pays the salesman to bring in these specs. So with the end goal in mind, skills that will make you successful in that world are:

· Any 2D or 3D Drafting -- We communicate our products to our potential clients via 3D software. Traning provided.

· Any previous installation or construction experience -- We install our products so someone who can understand how the product can be installed is important

· Any previous sales experience

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
