Position Summary:
The Business Liaison will cultivate and manage relationships between Easterseals Crossroads and the business community that result in internship, training and job opportunities for persons served. The Business Liaison will advise and educate the Pathways program staff on local employment trends, “good and promising jobs”, and the necessary training, education, and qualifications for potential candidates.

Essential Functions:
  • Serves as the primary contact for employment opportunities and business collaborations within the employment division.
  • Identifies, develops, and maintains relationships with area businesses.
  • Screens candidates for referral to external business partners, as appropriate and/or required.
  • Resolves issues and concerns with business partners.
  • Monitors, coordinates, and communicates the strategic objectives of the business relationship between Easterseals Crossroads and business partners.
  • Represents Easterseals Crossroads and the Pathways Program by participating and/or attending meetings, advisory groups and events within the business and education community.
  • Will advise and assist the Pathways team in preparing participants for job search by developing and presenting job search training including resume preparation, identification of job opportunities, applicant tracking systems, resume preparation and coordination.
  • Will gather information about employment opportunities and share with Pathways staff, including conducting on-site-job analysis as appropriate and necessary.
  • Will collaborate and communicate with Easterseals Crossroads Director, Corporate Sponsorships as appropriate in relationship development and maintenance with business partners.

Education, Licenses, Certification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred. Experience working as employment consultant or similar position may be substituted for degree.
  • A current, valid Indiana Driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.


Experience required:
Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or disadvantaged populations highly preferred.


Working Hours:
37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday; must be flexible and willing to work evenings or weekends to attend special functions if necessary.
