Title: Insurance Account Executive
Status: Full-time / Non-Exempt / Hourly
Reports To: Chuck Murray
Candidate will have 1-3 years of office, HR, Employee Benefit and payroll experience highly desired. Adept at office administration tasks such as electronic document handling, concise email communications, task tracking, prioritization, and critical thinking. Other duties as required include general office support and administration to a team with changing priorities. Able to maintain a high degree of customer service, teamwork and positive attitude.
About the Role:
We are looking for a self-starter, proactive individual who can understand both our current setup and business objectives.
We are looking for someone with a strong customer service, employee benefits and HR background with a desire to continue learning. The ideal candidate will work independently and should be comfortable liaising with users and enjoy learning new processes.
Task and Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers, independent Agents, vendors, business partners via phone and email
- Provide knowledgeable and accurate responses about products, quoting and availability
- Work with internal and external team members to exceed customer's needs
- Provide administrative support to the Team
- Data entry, record keeping, renewal tracking and follow up, client communications as needed
- Process paperwork in a timely, efficient manner in accordance with best practices
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing desired results, which primarily include new sales and customer retention
- Other duties as assigned to include but not limited to greeting visitors, light housekeeping and other similar office operation support tasks
Required Qualifications
· At least 1 - 3 years of relevant work experience
· Professional phone etiquette and excellent listening, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
· Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work with little supervision
· A self starter, willing to problem solve, learn, and produce results
· Detail oriented and flexible
· Comfortable working in a small office environment with evolving priorities and needs
· HRIS systems knowledge and experience highly desired
· Technical systems experience highly desired
· Employee benefits experience
· Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office suite of products, a standard CRM and computer literate
Desired Qualifications and Background
· High school diploma, or equivalent
· Associates degree or higher is desired
· Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
· Ability to problem-solve in a variety of situations
· Possess or willing to obtain and maintain State insurance producer license for Health and Life
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office software, basic CRM and IT knowledge
· Ability to problem solve using a variety of computer applications
Work Hours & Benefits
· Office hours are Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
· Hourly, non-exempt
