We are looking for a Catering Sales Manager who will showcase Boston’s longest running 5 Star Hotel, creating memorable and innovative events . Four Seasons is recruiting a talented Catering Manager to as a member of a high performing team in one of the most essential sales divisions. The Catering Manager will play a leading role in generating revenue and managing the high end events, working collaboratively with the Events and Culinary team. You: detail oriented, passionate about good food and drinks, and willing to be creative. The Role

The Catering Sales manager is responsible for prospecting for new business and for enforcing the terms of sales contracts and guiding meeting/event/third party planners through the planning process. The ideal candidate has s trong leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills is able to prioritize and adapt to the changing needs of the operation, and can evidence having a solid work ethic, good business acumen and a passion for service.

Preferred Qualifications And Skills

· 2 to 3 years’ experience directly related to hotel event sales.

· Bachelor's Degree preferred

· Previous leadership experience in a luxury hotel setting.

· Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.

· Strong selling and interpersonal skills.

· Strong problem-solving skills, ability to handle difficult situations and guests.

· High level of creativity and attention to detail.

· Ability to handle multiple tasks and make decisions in a fast-paced client driven environment.
