Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, licensed blaster who wants to help build the Enaex explosives shot service business. You will have the opportunity to work with a company that is committed to investing in the blasting business and doing it right. As a member of the Technical and Field Operations team you will be heavily involved in executing on-bench shot service, conducting trial blasts to win new business, and creating and sustaining Enaex’s portfolio of shot service business. Applicants will not be considered without prior mining or related field experience.

Essential Job Duties

• Act as the blaster-in-charge at shot service sites
• Develop company wide and site-specific shot service SOPs
• Lead on-bench shot service trials
• Conduct product quality testing
• Train Enaex blast crew members, blasters, and customers on the safe use of explosive products and initiation systems.
• Utilize blasting software
• Support business development growth through technical sales and product support
• Travel is required, Western US Territory

Qualifications

• Current state blasting license
• Demonstrated experience as blaster-in-charge at quarry operations
• Communication Skills, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook experience
• Extensive knowledge in blasting software
• Must meet requirements of all State and Federal explosive laws (“possessor of explosives” as defined by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives BATFE).

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
