The Casino Sales Executive role puts you at the forefront of connecting with new and existing guests by creating and developing strategic relationships in key customer markets. Outbound sales marketing, customer service and telemarketing experience are all valuable for success in this position.

As a Casino Sales Executive, you will be the first line of contact for existing and potential visitors to Funner, CA, eventually handing them off seamlessly to the marketing specialists for their memorable experiences. Bringing your Funner attitude while anticipating guests’ needs to develop a tailored pre-trip itinerary will make their experience at Harrah’s Resort SoCal exceptional. As a member of the Funner team you will strive to exceed guest expectations while tackling your sales goals with tenacity.

Qualifications :

  • One to three years of experience in casino or hotel customer service, guest host, or telemarketing (Experience with luxury brands preferred).
  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required.
  • Ability to think independently and make decisions to maximize customer experience and program profitability.
  • Exceptional time management. Must perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be proficient with customer Point-of-Service systems.
  • Must have a systematic and process-oriented mindset to ensure seamless end-to-end customer experiences.
  • Must have flexibility in your schedule and be willing to work any shift when necessary.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Fun, individually motivated, team focused attitude

Essential Job Functions:

  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining coded player block through high-volume direct mail, email, telemarketing by leveraging databases.
  • Actively participates in telephone solicitation and coordinates personalized direct mailings for assigned markets.
  • Fully complies with all applicable rules, regulations, laws, and policies, and conducts oneself with highest level of integrity and honesty.
  • Works to utilize transportation resources for VIP guests.
  • Ensures seamless hand off guest pre-trip itinerary for flawless on property execution by VIP Hospitality Team.
  • Uses sound judgment and makes good decisions while following established guidelines.
  • Responds to and consistently meets or exceeds the needs of clients.
  • Supports and cultivates new ideas for business or service solutions.
  • Clearly communicates programs/services, seeks support, and keeps all informed of changes that may impact the business.
  • Must be knowledgeable of all happenings on property and in market.
  • Develops skills to handle increasingly complex matters.
  • Projects warmth and enthusiasm in person and on the phone; builds rapport to strengthen relationships and encourages trial as well as repeat visitation.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to teach, mentor, train, and share information with the team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands:

  • Must be able to continuously maneuver around office.
  • Must be able to move quickly around property.
  • Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, twist and work at a desk. Responds to visual and aural cues.
  • Must be able to work independently and proven to be self-motivated.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other office equipment.
  • Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guest’s needs.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke.

Salary: $50- $54k per year plus uncapped quarterly bonus potential.
