Job Summary:
Under limited supervision, prospects for newspaper subscriptions; makes sales presentations and sells newspaper subscriptions; attends sales and training meetings; performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

• Under limited supervision, prospects for newspaper subscriptions— sets up kiosk stations, tends, and sells newspaper subscriptions at malls, and other commercial outlets and locations as needed.
• Makes sales presentations and sells subscriptions—works in assigned physical location, contacts as many prospects as possible; makes presentations; writes orders to increase circulation; submits orders and money to supervisor.
• Attends sales and training meetings and sessions
• Handle all other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of Apple products.
• Knowledge of sales techniques.
• Ability to read and follow oral and written communication.
• Ability to learn and follow company policies and procedures.
• Ability to use, or learn and use, effective sales programs.
• Ability to write legibly to communicate work completion.
• Possess aptitude and motivational skills for selling.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous sales experience preferred.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a VALID driver’s license.
• Driving record must meet the requirements set in the “Personal Vehicles Used for Company Business” policy.
• Must have and provide own reliable transportation.

Physical Demands:

• Lifting up to 20 lbs., from a level of 0 inches to a level of 35 inches.
• Standing and/or sitting up to 7 hours per day on a variety of surfaces.
• Twisting movements are required.
• Bending movements are required.
• Wrist movement is required.
