About the Role

Orchard is looking for a Head of Brokerage Sales to manage our Brokerage team comprised of Buyer Agents and Listing Agents. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering on revenue goals, creating strategies to drive behaviors that influence customer acquisition targets, supporting agents in delivering consistently stellar service to customers, developing and managing to KPIs, and managing a team of managers and team leads.

In addition, you will be a member of the Sales and Brokerage leadership team responsible for partnering effectively with cross-functional leaders across Mortgage, Sales, Title, Operations, Product and Marketing with the goal of providing a stress-free, simple, and fair way for our customers to buy and sell their homes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience leading and building strategy for a consultative, tech-forward sales team and optimizing for customer acquisition.

This is a full time role that will report into the COO and can be based out of New York or Austin, TX, with the option to be remote in the following locations: AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, MA, MD, NC, NJ, NY, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI.

What You'll Do Here:

  • Create and implement strategies that deliver on driving customer acquisition
  • Manage a team of Listing Agent and Buyers Agent managers
  • Build processes that empower our Listing Agents and Buyers Agents to provide the best customer experience while also reaching our revenue targets
  • Oversee performance management, hiring and retention processes to ensure a continually high performing team
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales, Product, Marketing, and other internal teams to achieve business goals
  • Drive continual improvement both within the team and between internal stakeholders. Ideate, iterate and execute

We'd Love to Hear From You if You Have:

  • 10+ years building successful sales teams with 2+ years being in a real estate environment
  • 5+ years of people management experience with experience managing managers
  • Proven ability to hire teams in a licensed, regulated environment
  • A track record of building great partner relationships with other parties in the real estate transaction
  • Ability to drive results and achieve metrics based goals (i.e. conversion rate goals)
  • Systems level thinker with the ability to create processes that empower our Listing Agents and Buyers Agents to serve the customer
  • An educator's mindset towards training and building out the best in our brokerage sales team
  • Ability to prioritize what to improve first and what to phase for later
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment with evolving priorities
  • Strong customer focus
  • A team player with the ability to take responsibility to personally drive execution and follow through

The pay range for this position in Denver, Colorado is $200,000-$250,000/year. The actual base pay offered may vary within the range provided depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location within the state of Colorado. Stock options and other incentive pay may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered. This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act. Please note that the range provided is applicable only to Colorado-based applicants. Base compensation may vary if the work location is outside of Colorado.
